Sip and Paint Party 

📆 Date: 29th October 📍 Location: Stags Head, Psalter lane 

A spooky seasonal sip and paint party! A fun 2.5 hour session, you will learn how to mix colours, paint application techniques, how to observe light, dark and colour, layering up to achieve depth plenty more tips and tricks from an experienced artist, all while creating a spectacular halloween themed painting of Salem a witchy black kitten sat upon a pumpkin.

Cannon Hall Farm 

📆 Date: 4th - 31st October  📍 Location: Cannon Hall Farm

All paying children get a free pumpkin 🎃

Cannon Hall Farm’s incredible pumpkin patch is returning this October - and is full of instagrammable family moments!

The patch - which was voted the no 1 patch to visit in the UK in a study by Austen and Blake - sees almost 10,000 pumpkins available for visitors to pick and our expert carvers will shape out those toothy grins for you.

Out of this World 

📆 Date: 26th October   📍 Location: Peace Gardens 

Now in its 11th year, Sheffield's Out of This World is a free city centre event that celebrates all things otherworldly.

Attracting thousands of children and adults each year, this weird, wonderful and wacky event will return on Sunday 26 October. Expect a host of street entertainment, demonstrations, comic con characters, fancy dress, family activities, fairground rides, street food stalls and more.

The Winter Garden, Tudor Square and Peace Gardens play host to the ever popular sci-fi, comic book, gaming and fantasy areas, while the Halloween Zone can be found spread across Town Hall Square, the Peace Gardens, Pinstone and Surrey Street.At Millennium Square and the Peace Gardens, visitors will be able to step into a world of magic and illusion, with some of the UK’s best magicians and illusionists flexing their skills, while aspiring young witches and wizards will also be able to learn magic spells, design and make their own wands, and much more.

Are you ready for a spookily special (trick or) treat this October half-term holiday?

Look out for spellbinding creatures and characters lurking along the Witches and Wizards trail. Conjure up your inner witch or wizard to crack the code hidden amongst the five colourful potion bottles and graduate from the School of Magic (and Mischief)!

Wander the woodland walk and peek into the eerie witch's cabin and take a spooky tractor-trailer ride through the haunted grounds!

Take a seat at the Magical School of Curious Creatures show - stay after the show to learn the art of broomstick flying or giant bubble fun!*

Bewitch us with your dress up and costumes and you could scare your way to a spooky spot prize! Take part in the Wizard and Witches colouring competition and drop your masterpiece in the mysterious Owl Post Box. Can you find one of the special hidden prize scrolls for even more chances to win?

Don’t miss daily animal encounters and talks with keepers revealing gruesome fun facts about their amazing animals - you might just meet some creepy crawlies!

Our spooktacular sandpits and play parks are open daily and if you’re feeling fearless, quake in your boots on the Dino trail!
